Design and Project Management Services
Our Annual Contract Programme for schools provides excellent value for money, offering advice, assistance and support in all of the following areas;
- Personal, one to one service for Head Teachers and Governors.
- Day to day maintenance issues e.g. fault diagnosis, contractor selection and quality assessment.
- Management of annual servicing e.g. Gas, Fire and Electrical (including appliance testing).
- Assisting Governors and Head Teachers to produce Fire Risk and Health and Safety reviews.
- Working with the school and Education Leeds to develop a relevant and user friendly Asset Management Plan. Improving the schools Condition Survey to ensure that both Planned and Reactive Maintenance are budgeted for effectively to create a controlled Maintenance Programme.
- Reporting when necessary to Family of Schools, Governors and Building sub-committee meetings.
- Able to offer service and support to Caretaking and Administrative staff in all areas.
- Buildings advice on proposed building schemes.
- The organisation and management of small-scale refurbishment.
- Assisting Governors and Head Teachers to understand and access any relevant funding via bids to the DfEE/Education Leeds for building projects.
Our dedicated Client Services Team provide remote support for your school; one email or phone call to report a maintenance issue will result in a full assessment of the problem, appropriate contractor selection, details of the work required and any site visits being arranged with the contractor and quality assessment of any works where necessary.
We work hard to aim to make the daily maintenance of your buildings as stress free as possible, allowing you to use your time more effectively. There are no hidden charges or 'add on' costs; schools pay contractors directly for their work. In other words - We do not benefit from your maintenance problems!
It is important to us that each school receives an individual and, where possible, tailor-made service. Therefore there are a number of extra services available to schools – you only pay for these as and when you use them. You can be assured that all of the additional services provided are carried out professionally and to a high standard, as our customers expect.
